McInnes Bio
McInnes has been sharing music over the airwaves and to countless dancefloors between Sydney and LA for the last decade.
While still in high school, McInnes got his start as a presenter on FBi Radio. He began working at Future Classic and then quickly found himself warming up crowds for international acts like Flume, Nicolas Jaar, The Whitest Boy Alive, John Talabot and Toro Y Moi.
He’s played festivals from Splendour in the Grass to Electric Forest and for brands including Louis Vuitton, Gucci, adidas and Playstation.
McInnes launched his own record label, Plastic World, with local Sydney legend Vichara Edirisinghe, founder of Astral People. Plastic World released ten outstanding records by local Australian artists GL, Retiree, Alba, Tuff Sherm and Cassius Select, which were quickly championed by The Guardian UK, The Age and VICE.
